Wasn't the UCLA game in 2000(?) a night game as well?
Nope. It was an afternoon game and it was 2001.

That was the game at UCLA. I was talking about the home game, since Mili mentioned the home opener against UW in 2003.
Gamble's pick in 02 against PSU was simply the loudest moment in Shoe history.of my experiences in the shoe the loudest moments would be 4th quarter vs scum in 04 and A.J. Hawk's interception of vince young last year

Sitting in the south stands watching it unfold right in front of me was awesome. When he scored, it was so loud, you couldn't hear yourself yelling. When Gamble crossed the goal line the instantenous increase in volume was spine-tingling even on TV...I can only imagine what it was like live.
I was thinking about this earlier, and I think that play was probably the 2nd/3rd loudest the Horseshoe has ever been. The loudest, IMO, was in 2002 vs. Michigan a) After Darrion Scott forced John Navarre to fumble with less than 3 minutes to go, and b) when Will Allen intercepted the final pass. All three still give me chills to this day.Gamble's pick in 02 against PSU was simply the loudest moment in Shoe history.
