He won't win a natty, but the U was beneficial to Ward. He will get paid and playing in the ACC will be easier to hide deficiencies like it did for McCord. Probably a good move for him.

The only issue he will have, is that they have a delusional fanbase who thinks that Beck will get them into the CFP and he will propel them further than Ward. Ward was arguably the best Miami QB since Ken Dorsey. Beck looked like he regressed last year, and he won't have all of the talent that UGA did to help him. The UGA defense was able to help him out a lot he'll be doing a lot of heavy lifting in Miami that he's not accustomed to doing
