After living with me for awhile, I think my wife might beg to differ with the implication that those terms are mutually exclusive

Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
Just sayin':
1. With Jesse Mirco gone we may need a punter more than place kicker.
2. Jayden Fielding is just a Sophomore and has 3 more years of eligibility. He made 80% of his field goals, 100% inside the 40 last year. If we bring in Graham Nicholson, Fielding will likely transfer out. How much improvement will Fielding make in the next 3 years is the question.
3. The NIL money isn't unlimited. I'm just thinking that it could better be used to help get another "top tier" offensive lineman which is a position of much greater need.

I have zero qualms with anything you said. My initial reaction was more so thinking along the lines of bringing in the best talent that you can. I also thought Jayden only had 2 years left, making it not a big loss if he did leave because of it.
Will be someone to keep an eye on. Graham went 27-for-28 on FGs, including 10-for-11 from 40-plus yards. Kid could be a key piece to someone’s team.
