If you ever care to pull up an election map of Oregon by county, you'd see quite an interesting discrepancy on this and other things.

just taking a wild stab.. but probably mirrors the current role of counties that have voted to cede from Oregon and become part of Idaho

Probably a hard transition to make from Bama, where a firearm is viewed as an accessory, to the PAC NW where they are viewed notsomuch as an accessory.

I have a feeling there are some on this board who are not from Bama who would view a firearm as an accessory. But that discussion should probably be on the poli board.

That would be an extreme take, but aligns since outside of Portland, Eugene, and other portions of the Willamette Valley, the state is deep red.

That said, my comment was a bit of tongue in cheek poke at Bama and Dixie in general more so than any statement directed at Oregon or the PNW.
