Look Who's Transferring Now (The Basketball Portal)

With the NBA draft deadline, now there are a few bigs who entered the portal earlier but explored the draft process and now are looking to return to college. I haven't seen any links with OSU, but it would make sense if they looked at at least one of the group including UK transfer C Onyenso, Arkansas F Brazil, & K-State F Kaluma.

In the wake of Taison Chatman's injury, OSU is now rumored to be looking at using that last open scholarship on a guard in the portal. One guy they might be looking at is Ques Glover. Prior to the injury, OSU was supposedly going to use that last spot for a developmental big man from overseas. Obviously the staff has been deliberative about what to do with the one opening they have.

Memphis forward Tyreek Smith has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos. Smith transferred to Memphis this offseason from SMU. However, on Oct. 20, Smith informed head coach Penny Hardaway that he would be stepping away from the team.

Following Smith’s decision, his representative with Young Money Sports alleged that Memphis had not paid the transfer forward in the four months that he’d been with the team and had broken other promises to Smith.

Alas, CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish later reported that Memphis had paid Tyreek Smith $175,000, which is reportedly equivalent to a third of what he’d initially agreed to. If this is true, Memphis would not be behind on payments whatsoever.

Smith will look for his 5th college after transferring from Texas Tech to Oklahoma State to SMU to Memphis. ...
