Longest you ever went without sleep?

Close, one time at that location. We were working with the doors locked while the building was under construction from a two bay board-up to what is there today. Two guys tried to coerice me to open the door saying the pay phone was not working and could they use the phone inside, cause it was an emergency. Something just didn't feel right and I backed away from the door. At this point the guy pulls out a .45 but luckily the construction crew had punched a large hole in the cinder blocks and I drove in through the hole. I was trying to figure what to do next (the phone was in the room I just vacated) when I heard some yelling at the pass through up front. Just so happens a regular customer who came to buy three packs of Camels at 3am every day had pulled up while this was going on and scared them away. We then called the police and gave them a description of the guys and they told me that it fit the profile of some perps who had hit a couple of gas stations/c-stores earlier in the month.

I've only done 30 hours...that was a couple months ago. I don't think i've gone longer than that.

Longest i've gone without sleep while at work. 3 hours.

Hahaha!

30 hours. I worked at the Sports Section of our Parks and Recreation Department. We had a Adult Softball Midnite Madness Softball Tournament right before a 10-under World Series. Horrible. Started at 6pm on Friday. at 9am when the Softball tourney was over, we installed new mounds and outfield fences for the youngsters. Opening Ceremonies for the 10-under was at 6pm, with an exhibition game at 8, ending at 10, then cleanup. I slept at the Sports Complex that night, I could barely move, and didn't want to chance the 30 minute drive home.

Must have been over 60... two all-nighters studying for college exams, and then home to find all my high school friends were getting together for a party. I actually ended up playing designated driver early the next morning... definitely not ideal, but even at that point still the better option. Two all-nighters is not too unusual, and I stay fairly functional.

My father played in a 72-hour charity baseball game in Japan when he was in the Air Force... they were well into things when hallucinations set in and he wound up punching out his commanding officer over a bad call. Apparently this is frowned upon...

Yea real scary stuff.

If I ever had to work at a gas station/mini mart I would carry a hand gun. No qustion about it. Some dude tries to rob me at gun point, by god almighty I'm going to shoot his ass.

Yeah, the guy who trained me opens up a drawer and shows me his little friend. It was a snub nosed .38. That is still a vivid picture after all these years.

I'm somewhere over 50 hours right now. :yow1:

The boys never went to sleep. I tried the pixie sticks, cake batter pancakes and even maple syrup instead of milk. Nothing works!!! :sob:

I'm not sure, but they may be multiplying. Of course, I may be hallucinating. I swear I had two boys, but now I see two sets of three. :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

I WANT THEIR MOMMY!!!
