Longest you ever went without sleep?

Probably around 50-60 when I was pledging my frat in college.

Good News was I did get to have sex with a sheep.:wink2:

You didn't get to sleep with a sheep?....Lucky you.

I would say the same duration.....the kicker is you get to spend all night doing mundane shit like filling up trash cans with dirt and then moving it to the other side of the yard and dumping it. You know....real constructive stuff.....

BN: How many people broke down in your hell week? It's amazing how lack of sleep will make people so pissy.

One finals week at OSU when I was taking 23 credit hours. (I petitioned to go over 20). Over a four day period, I averaged less than two hours per night. I will never do anything like that again for the rest of my life.

22 hours. I believe it was something around that(more or less). Wasn't working. Watched TV and played video games the whole time. Needless to say I was dead beat tired. I already pulled a 18 hours the night before with 4 hours of sleep inbetween the two days. So I went 40 hours with 4 hours of sleep.

18 hours. Was doing just fine till I stopped at a light on the way home.
Woke up 45 minutes later. Never again.
Don't try this at home , kids.

What, driving? At home? There's not enough room.

Sleepless in Norway - land of midnight sun (or so it seemed) sunset was somewhere between 10:30 and 11 PM. We would stay up till the wee small hours, light still on. Windows in the hotel/pension had blinds / shutters but no drapes. Simply could not get to sleep.

Found two other similarly affected attendees. We persuaded one of the night staff to open the bar, kept it open till around 3 in the morning when the sun rose once again. Got the coffee going and plenty of the rich Norwegian breakfast foods / cereals.

Kept this up for 3 straight nights.

The 4th day was the last of the meeting and I travelled back from Oslo to London. Pitch black in the plane for no more than 45 minutes - out like a fucking light. Nearly missed the connection.

All told I'd say that was a stretch of nearly 72-80 hours.
I'm pretty sure I was made to sleep in one of these things. With or without the model

Approx. 3 days when I had three jobs right after graduation. Worked at Sohio (now BP) at 17th and Summit, Equitable Federal S&L on North High near the Park of Roses, and umpired on the side. I was also partying like a rock star and dating three different women that summer. I had probably averaged less than 20 hours a sleep a week during that summer. I was so tired but never had so much fun. Couldn't do that anymore nor would I want to........
