The design of that sentence, creatively using ellipsis and emoticon, was quite intelligent.
"What a piece of work is man! How noble in reason! how infinite in faculties! in form and moving, how express and admirable! in action how like an angel! in apprehension, how like a god! the beauty of the world! the paragon of animals! And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me; no, nor woman neither, though by your smiling you seem to say so."

Because it's tarantula mating season.
Did you know that the smaller male must be very quick and very lucky or he will get eaten? :tongue2:

While this may in fact be true, it is not exlusive to the tarantula. The same situation is also true with Roseanne Barr.

Ducks' quacks don't echo, or so they say. I don't know who "they" are, except "they" aren't the ducks, because that would be highly unusual, don't you think?

Ducks, among other animals, including primates, exhibit same-sex behavior.
Ducks will rape each other, duck ethologists call it "attempted rape flight."

OCBF lived in an apartment before we moved in together. Every spring/summer, a Mallard pair lived in the pool. The would chase away any other duck, of any sex, that landed in the pool by quacking at them, lunging at them, bitting at them, and generally being complete bitches. Both ducks that lived there were male, with typical green-feathered heads. They engaged in "mated pair" behavior such as twining of necks, grooming, etc.
