Mine- If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle; if the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle; if the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

If a ball is shot right back up the middle and you jump back onto second base to be safe... and the ball hits you... you're OUT... the base is not an island of safety

The origin of the Asian slur "Gook" dates back to the Korean War.

The Korean word for American is Mi-guk (pronounced me-gook), which actually means: Mi - Beautiful, and Guk - Country.

The Koreans, excited to see the American GIs, would yell Miguk, Miguk!! The Americans naturally responded with "ok, you're a gook"

I heard that Mi-Guk is actually Korean for Soup. So when they asked for soup (or offered it, I dont know), Americans called them Gooks.

eyebrows are on your face naturally to keep sweat out of your eyes. (hey, i thought it was pretty interesting when i was told that).

They're there because we used to be monkeys. As we evolved, they (like our fingernails) survived as one of the many useful features of the simian body. Probably only a matter of 20-30 generations before toenails start to disappear.
