I want to know if you have ever tried to buy a bottle of liquor from the bar for the road and been denied. If that isn't the height of alcoholism I don't know what is. The fact that they even had to write that law in the first place is a pretty large accomplishment for whoever did that enough to make it a problem.

No. I haven't. I assume the law is in place for the same reason almost every other liquor law is, complete bullshit. Just another form of control the gov't wants to have. I mean, seriously, it's fucking absurd that someone who works third shift can't stop in a bar and have a beer after work because the gov't makes it illegal. Sunday liquor sales, etc, etc, all bullshit.

Hey, liquor stores are only open till 9 or 10...but the bars are open till 2am... You'd be surprised how useful it is to know someone who owns a bar...or at least has the keys to one.

Oh fuck yeah. After hours parties at bars. Nothing better.

Missed the opening time and the 'to go bottle' questions.

I think most people would (should) miss the Opening Time question. Many would simply base it on what time their earliest known bar opening time is. Here in BG it's Howards at 5:30 - unless the early guy oversleeps (I could never make as the early guy - 'specially in a bar!!!!)
