yup. He could suck @ KU too, win 5-6 games a season and it would still be an improvement to what I've had to watch for the last 5 years. I could justify wasting a few Saturday afternoons to go see them play if they were at least competitive. I cannot currently. Miles would surely bring the entertainment factor back to Lawrence. He has a much better personality than Gill and Charlie. I think KU fans would welcome 5-6 "W's" as bad as things have been lately.

I don’t think he could produce enough offensive output to compete with Oklahoma, OKST, West Virginia, TCU or Texas Tech. If he can get a solid defense going then maybe they have a chance at 3-4 wins (most being OOC) but I just don’t see his style doing well in the B12 but maybe I’m wrong.

obviously he won’t have anywhere near the same talent level, but he drummed up enough offense here to beat 3 of those teams (twice in the case of West Virginia)

He might be able to do some decent contrarian work there. Old school physical ball in a tissue soft spread conference might just be a recipe for moderate success. I would think that he'd have to hit the JUCO ranks pretty hard for at least a few years to get some talent, but he presumably has lots of connections in the South for that. He might be able to be something like the Big 12's David Cutcliffe.
