not just $15 million.

$15 million at a school that has had massive budget cuts and needed a substantial donation from athletics just to help stay afloat this year.

the athletic department runs completely independently of the academic side, and has a very successful fund raising group.
so I don't doubt that the money part can be handled.
I'm just curious to see how the political side of this plays out when it happens.

Just blame it on Bobby Jindal. He's getting blamed for every other sucky thing happening in Louisiana this year.

I'm hearing from a couple of Bama boosters that the fifteen million is not an issue. Of course, that doesn't make this a done deal and is just s rumor.

After the last Temple head coach that got a decent gig....I'm sure folks will be a bit more....apprehensive this time...

Still not convinced at Herman going. After one not full season with a bunch of players from a team that went 8-4 last year, he has to show that he can recruit with the best of em.

Besides - can you see that style of offense being run in the SEC? I can hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth now....

And as far as Lesticles.....

That dude is, like him or not, one of the few characters in college football left. He's not some robotic terminator type coach that says the same thing all the time. You never know what you're going to get at a presser with the guy.

I'd take him in a heartbeat, LOL

EDIT: IF I can't get Les....gimme Coach O! Husker fans been pining for the guy since Riley got the job, and now, he's probably going to be RIGHT BACK ON THE MARKET....

Grab him, dammit!
