Totally agree, although there are some whispers that the actual issue is that TM7 was dismissed from school.

If so, then Les' hands were tied.

we may never hear the whole story from LSU.

we never did find out the final "rule violation" that ended Perrilloux's career here.

never got confirmation from LSU that drugs was the issue with Mathieu last year.

HOWEVER, being since all parties are openly talking about him transferring, then it almost had to be a "team" rule.

if he is not eligible at LSU, then by rule he is not eligible at any NCAA school, not even FCS.
At least that is what is being said by a few media people.

earlier, I was convinced it was another drug test.
but if that's correct, then according to several tweets from "experts", it would make him ineligible everywhere, not just LSU.

And probably most of them (like Storm Klein) just made a bad decision. It was 100% their fault. They:

a. lost their scholarship, worth over $30K per year (probably about the same as basketball) per http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/mensbasketball/2011-03-29-scholarship-worth-final-four_N.htm

b. have reduced their chances of an NFL career (i.e. character issue and lost college football experience)

c. have reduced future earning potiential by not geting their college degree

Mathieu rumored to be transferring to McNeese St (in Lake Charles, LA)

Re: Doug Williams, Head Coach Grambling, On Clarett transferring to Grambling, 2003 ...."A lot of people would like to have Maurice Clarett," Williams said. "I don't think a headache comes with the kid. He didn't shoot nobody. They didn't arrest him for drugs. He didn't rape nobody. Ain't no problem with the kid."

I would have thought Doug Williams might have "recruited" Mathieu for Grambling.

So fucking glad I won't have to hear the term "honey badger" every 12 seconds during each football broadcast. I have this irrational hatred of the dude because of his nickname and everyone's desire to say it instead of using pronouns, like him, he or Sisqo.

yeah, was funny when the videos first hit.

and was cool when the PA announcer dropped a honey badger reference during a game.

but it got old really effing quick after that.
