The 4 LSU players (QB Jefferson, OL Davenport, DL Johns, WR Landry) have lawyered up and have postponed the invitation to come down to the Red Stick PO-lice to tell their side of the story.
The 4 people who ended up at the hospital are saying they want to press charges.

no way JJ would have known he was a Marine.
Kicking a guy in the head is a bad enough offense.

The (alleged) marine was (allegedly) trying to assist the man that up to (reportedly) 21 LSU players were (allegedly) beating up after (allegedly) dragging him from his car.

mainly because only 4 are even mentioned by police (with no hint of them looking for more).
The rumor down:
players hanging out in parking lot along with a lot of other people.
truck passing through parking lot (revs engine, nearly hits someone, tries to hit someone, something to that effect).
someone yells something to driver.
driver gets out and confronts player.
call each other names, push each other, etc. escalates into fight.
Marine comes in to either join fun or break it up. other players join in too.
this is the point when JJ allegedly kicks dude in the head.
no word on if JJ is the guy who took him down, or just kicked him after the fact.
