Les Miles (grass eater)

For once, I'd love to hear it. :slappy:

All the talent on the LSU team was developed by Les Miles and his staff. The only person to see any playing time under Saban was Doucet and Hester. The majority of the players you saw in the SEC CG were Miles recuits. The only claim Saban can have to this team is that he recuited a small percentage of the current players which all graduate in the Spring. So to say that LSU won with Saban's players is simply incorrect...

Wasn't it just shown that a large majority of those players were Saban's?

In what galaxy do Flynn, Hester, Doucet, Jackson, Dorsey, Highsmith, Zenon & Steltz amount to a small percentage of your team? I'd say that's almost all of your best players.

I won't even count the 05 recruits, who signed about a month after Saban left (Miles sure is a magician if he recruited all of those kids on his own).

2004 recruits (or earlier)
QB Flynn, RB Hester, WR Doucet, OT Stewart, OG Johnson, OC Helms
DE Jackson, DT Dorsey, DT Favorite, LB Sanders, LB Highsmith, CB Zenon, CB Jackson, S Steltz, S Taylor
P Fisher, LS O'Hair, KR Doucet, PR Doucet

6/11 offense starters
9/11 defensive starters
4/5 special teamers (I left out holder)

19/27 starters.

Just when I think you cannot set the bar even lower, you come along with something fresh.

BTW, whose players was Miles playing with in those previous 10 win season?

Note, I don't subscribe to this particular disclaimer of Saban's recruits. But trying to pretend like his fingerprints are not on this team is pretty TO-esque.

To quote Ty Webb (to Al Czervik...)

"You're not, you're not... good"

Wow. To come back with an unsubstantiated thought in an attempt to rebut what has been shown is just... ig'nant. At least you're staying true to form.

[jest]Btw, as far as development goes, I opine that there is a lot of stuff that the LSU Tigers will have to unlearn as a part of being under the tutelage of Les Miles. (i.e. when to call time outs, the proper speed with which to call a play, make sure you know who the HEAD COACH is, etc.) [/jest]

What I find most amazing is the level of arrogance of the average OSU fan. Exactly how many crystal balls has Tressel won with "HIS" players?

LOL.

With his own players starting he is 41-8, with 3 Big Ten Championships (2 outright), 2 NC appearances, and is undefeated against scUM. (Off the top of my head)

When Les Miles makes it to 3 NC games with 3 different quarterbacks, makes it to a NC game after losing a Heisman winner, two first round picks at receiver, and a running back with back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons, and makes it to the NC game while replacing 9 starters on defense than maybe we can begin talking about the two in the same sentence.

For those new to the internets, this is called diversion, used to hide when you realize reality isn't on your side.

btw, making crystal balls the metric isn't very smart for lsu, but well-reasoned debate does not seem to be your strong suit.

If I'm arrogant; then you are the dumbest fucking guy that's been around here in a while.

(whoops, I must be arrogant). Actually, my "arrogance", as you perceive it, is a self-recognition on your part that I'm much better at arguing my case than you. Thus, it's not necessarily that I'm ignorant, but instead, that you're an ignorant troll.

Let me know when you actually want to have a dialogue/discussion that you can substantiate. Until then, piss off.
