Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Boo is the next best player that hasn't committed yet. Chicago would be wise to go after him regardless of what Lebron is going to do. They need a 4 and a SG that can shoot.

I stand by the fact that Boozer worked really well w/ LeBron, and if he didn't bolt in the first place the Cavs wouldn't be in the position they were in. Probably a couple titles, all he did was clean up the boards down low and played good defense.

Can Boozer Deliver LeBron? - TrueHoop Blog - ESPN

This is a crock. I just watched ESPN at lunch, and they're trying as hard as they can to pump the "Big 3" story. IMO, no way LBJ goes to Miami--winning a championship there would do no more for his place in the history of the game than being part of the Redeem Team does. If he wants to go down as one of the greatest, he needs to win a title on a team where he's the man--the same reason why Kobe is now considered one of the greatest (having now won 2 titles without Shaq) and why DWade never will be considered one of the greatest (he's only won one title and that was with Shaq, and he realizes he needs another superstar like Bosh if he ever wants to get out of the first round of the playoffs again). LBJ has the talent to be one of the elite; he won't squander that in Miami.

Just read an article on yahoo that quoted a team official of one of the teams that made formal presentations to Lebron as saying it's down to Miami and Cleveland...take that for what it's worth, but NBA folks (real ones) are starting to say the same thing.

My question would be...if he set this whole one hour special up to help market himself and his loyalty by staying...what happens if he changes his mind at the last minute and decides to go play with Wade and Bosh?

Then he's the biggest villain in the history of Ohio sports.

I would have no problem with the Cavs pursuing Boo$er. Your pride or mine has nothing to do with this really. Ownership, management, coaching and all the players (except maybe one) are different now. If LeBron is back and he approves, find a way to get it done. This should be about winning, not feelings.

So LeBrons going to go on worldwide television and tell everyone... "all that stuff I said for years about loving my town, my team.. forgetaboutit... here's my loyalty.. right here in my shorts" .. I don't think so
