Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

A lot of LeBron haters just started loving him again last week. Funny how bitter some people still were about him leaving in the first place, when in reality he made the best move. If he had stayed, Cleveland wouldn't have gotten any top draft picks and they still never would've gotten any top free agents to combine with him, so he wouldn't have won any titles AND wouldn't have the top talent they have right now. LeBron leaving (plus a little lottery luck) was what Cleveland needed to build a talented supporting cast for him.

This is spot on. If Lebron stays the Cavs are the Nicks with Carmello - good enough to compete, too good to get premier draft prospects, not good enough to win it all.

Now you have a team with three FOUR #1 picks on its roster. That is a very difficult thing to do.

Irving-Wiggins-James > Bosh-Wade-James if you have the least bit of patience.

People would've been pissed that he left, but the venom was from how it happened. That's where the hatred came from. Die-hards probably would've hated him no matter how he left, but he wouldn't have been boo'd all across the country. He turned into a villain over night, and it's not just because he left Cleveland.

But yes, I agree with the general idea behind your post.

A co-worker and I have joked over the past year that it was a ruse put on by Gilbert and Lebron. Lebron leaves for Miami to allow Cleveland to stockpile some high draft picks, Gilbert writes an over the top letter to make it seem legit, Cleveland stockpiles picks, and then Lebron comes back to play with the added talent.

At first I was on board moving Wiggins for Love if we had to, but the longer the thought comes across the more and more exciting I think of Wiggins and LeBron playing together. There is no better teacher for Wiggins game than LeBron, and it will be scarey if Wiggins pans out, by next season I can't even imagine how scary good that duo could be.

I can see Wiggins as Pippen 2.0 but without the love for Doritos.

He could be the player Scottie Pippen, but he can't be the Pippen for LeBron. Pippen and Jordan were in their prime at the same time (only 2-3 years age difference). This is completely different. One will be entering his prime while the other is exiting, at best (probably even 2-3 years difference between when Wiggins is entering it and LeBron is exiting it).

More like David Robinson and Tim Duncan.

I have actually avoided the morning radio talk shows since his announcement. The one guy on the show I know will go on and on and on as to how LeBron is a bad person because he left. This is the same Gator douchenozzle that rips UFM anytime he can, but would probably suck his dick to come back to UF.

Also, I can not believe the amount of people who have said to me "How does it feel to get your boy back?" First, these people know I don't watch or even care about the NBA, second I have never been even a casual fan of the Cavs. Why is it people assume that you are a fan of a team just because you grew up in the state the team resides? I grew up watching Jordan, and yes, I was a kid and bandwagon Bulls fan at the time.

Anyway, read his essay and it seems that he has matured a ton over the past few years. Glad he is doing what he wants.

Yes, more like Robinson/Duncan.

But with a difference. When Wiggins is entering his prime, LeBron will be on his downswing. BUT, LeBron's downswing will be different. LeBron is smart enough to be like a Duncan is now. While still the alpha dog, he will be more of a secondary option. He will probably see his points decline (to 15ppg but his assists might kick up)This can extend the amount of championships he could win over his career. (Like how Lebron won Wade a few more titles).

I would say right now Kyrie is better than Wade if healthy. LBJ is a push. Bosh is better than Wiggins at this point.

Can't wait to see the future of this team
