Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Bosh is a good player. I think he's better than the numbers he accumulated in Miami...probably a 22/9 guy. But max money? That's Miami desperately trying to hold things together. And it's not just the $23.6 per, it's for 5 years. Woof...

That deal probably keeps Miami bad enough to make their draft picks worth something to the Cavs, but not good enough to have the draft picks become protected. Bravo.

Bosh....the guy that guaranteed a Game 5 win, then only scored 13pts and 0-5 from the 3pt line....max money? wow

The ironic thing is, Lebron leaving, was the only way the Cavs could draft young superstar talent.
LeBron leaving....then coming back...may have been the best thing he could have done to help improve the Cavs.
You can still be bitter and angry at the guy...or you can look at the glass half full.

Great time to be a CAVS Fan!
Welcome Home LeBron.

That's what I'm saying. Would have made total sense if not for the decision and the letter. Only way for the Cavs to get good was to get bad enough for several years of high picks.

Hope for that 11 pick next year?

Either that, or we hope for Miami to finish in the Bottom 10, then Bosh demands a trade. Then the team plummets to the bottom of the league for 2016 & 2017. Maybe this is sadistic, but I would get a ridiculous amount of gratification from seeing the Cavs take the Miami 2017 pick and win the lottery. I'm already curious to see if the 2016 HS class (the 2017 one-and-doners) has any megastars.

Oh, I agree. But, people buying this feel good "Ohio boy coming home" BS are a little naive, IMO.
I'm probably a tad naive then, 'cuz I believe he really feels the NE Ohio connection and inside is a Buckeye at heart. That said, he still his a shit-ton to prove after that stunt he pulled four years ago. But, who knows...maybe he'll get Cleveland 3-4 titles before he turns 35 and even the most hateful of haters will forgive him...

Really happy to see LeBron back. Yeah I was pissed when he left and wanted to see him lose in Miami, but only because he was not on my team and I openly admitted that was the extent of it. Now that he is back, I'm all LeBron. Now I will say I do NOT want to trade Wiggins straight up for Love if at all possible. However, I would do it at the end of the day because you get a sure thing at center and a shot to win it all immediately. Not sure if that opportunity is nearly as high with Wiggins...even if he is as billed, there will be rookie moments at critical times that you should avoid with Love. Even without Love, I still really like James, Irving, Wiggins, Thompson, and Varajeo.

Btw, I remember this and found a short article to go with it. This was a tweet from LeBron during the NBA lockout on Oct. 15th 2011- his response in parentheses. The author is the person that posed the question.

If it wasn’t for the NBA lockout, this tweet from Miami Heat star LeBron James to me—yes, to me-—which caused quite a stir in Twitterverse’s basketball corner wouldn’t have happened.

Lebron James—seemingly bored while waiting for the Liverpool-Manchester United match—was taking questions from his fans on Twitter last Saturday. And again, if it wasn’t for the lockout, LeBron wouldn’t be anticipating a football match two weeks before the would-be season opener.

So I took a shot with a simple question—and look it where it got me.

Honestly, I was hoping for something like “I prefer boxers over briefs” or “I eat cereals out of the box.” Seriously. I wasn’t expecting LeBron, who bolted out of Cleveland to take his talents to South Beach last year, to wax sentimental over the question.

Maybe LeBron had too much time in his hands that he finally thought of giving his fans—some of whom might have already burned down his/her extensive LeBron jersey collection (c’mon, we have seen that happen)—a shoutout.

Or we might as well blame the lockout again as players pretty much say whatever they like on Twitter—like the #LeTUsPlay and #UnitedWeStand hashtag movement to win PR points in the warfare which already cost us two weeks of the 2011-2012 NBA season.

I feel, though, that LeBron genuinely misses Cleveland, which stuck by him through those seven unfruitful years. It’s inevitable to miss someone or something that was a part of you for quite sometime. The one-hour special in July 2010 was pure bull, but I still see his leaving purely as a business move.
