Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Thank you for an Intelligent post, explaining to me where the hate is coming from instead of Ledouche this and SW ohio that...

there have been many intelligent posts in this thread explaining the situation in vivid, excruciating detail, and yet people like you continue to show up spewing nonsense

go back and read through it, try to skip over all of the garbage back and forth nonsense that is spawned from posters such as yourself, it will be difficult to do

I never asked anyone where the hate was from, i get it.

It's just getting to a point where someone including I who does not agree with everyone who hates James is just bashed and dinged. I could care less about the rep system but getting dinged 4 times in less then 2 minutes from the same poster who could also chill on the language is just out of line and wack.

I will step out of this cause the need for the hate and name calling is not needed. /rant

Why anyone who bought a Lebron Jersey soon as he left Cleveland would come into this thread and think that they would have a civil debate on his legacy or why he took a very public shit on a City is lieing to themselves or trying to hit the hornets nest IMO

You sure can flip on a player pretty quickly.... maybe you should be mad at West for sleeping with Lebron's mom and pissing him off....

Somehow I don't think West was sleeping with Lebron's crackhead mom 3 years ago when he, his hubby, and Bosh came up with this plan. I'm mostly pissed off that he isn't the man than he made all of us think he was for the past 7 years. Now his true colors are showing.

windhorst is on cleveland.com's DSN radio (whatever the hell this radio thing is) for an interview...thinks lebron didnt quit in series vs boston but that he choked which he thinks is worse....said there are other reasons for why lebron choked but cant go into it right now since he works for the heat and espn...said they will come out eventually someday, but it had to with lebron cracking under the pressure of winning a championship and winning in cleveland...(i think it has to do with his impending free agency, shaq coming down on him for being a bitch, and possibly the truth about the delonte situation)...also said lebron hated the fact that windhorst was coming down to miami with espn and wouldnt look or talk to brian for weeks...the two hosts are pretty annoying and i will never listen to this crap again but brian answered all the questions and stuck around somehow for 45 minutes...i still like brian and think he is a excellent writer even if he is with espn....if i can find a post of the archive of the interview i will post it

Sounds to me like he's changed his tune. At the time, he sure did portray it as LeBron quitting.

Me - I think it's a little bit of both. I think he quit when he realized he was choking.

Regardless of whether or not he choked, he surely quit. I've seen quitters before, and that instance was plain as day.

agreed i remember after the series was over and lebron left town, windhorst talked about lebron quitting...i think after 4 months of time to analyze it without lebron as a distraction he thought it was more lebron choking...he did say it would be to easy to say lebron quit because then that means that lebron could of done a better job, but since he quit he didnt give "100%"...but when he chokes that means he was not trying to quit on the team but that the pressure, having a bad series and everything else got to him and he just choked and played like shit...i really dont care and if someone asked me about my opinion on that series i would tell them lebron quit...he quit on cleveland so why couldnt he quit on the team...some other little things brian touched on
- said he didnt believe the heat tampered with getting lebron back in november of last year when supposedly pat riley met with lebron after a heat game in miami...said its a moot point anyways because the cavs technically traded lebron to miami
- doesnt like the "lebron follower" label but says he understands why people say it and theres nothing he can do about it...says espn came at him with an offer to write for the nba and he may not just be following the heat after this year...says he is following the magic game tonight and not even covering the heat so he does different things for the nba for espn

i call farce on windhorst. is his premise that lebron conjured the elbow injury in the chicago series in anticipation of choking against boston? no, that injury was the premade copout for a tank job because lebron knew he could never go through with his butt buddy plan if the cavs won a title.

Has he had a single top 10 play on ESPN since joining the Heat? He used to have 2 or 3 every game for the Cavs.

Again, the damage to his brand has been off the charts. It's not even fun watching the Heat. It's like watching 3 super-stars be shells of their actual potential. Watching LeBron make several 18 foot jumpers a game and settling for 8-9 assists isn't exactly riveting basketball.

Good drama, really poor product.

Doesn't Windhorst now cover the Miami Heat?

he claims he was hired to cover the heat and also more of the NBA (which he said he will be covering the orlando game tonight, maybe because the heat are on night off)...he is in the ESPN heat index and he says he did not know if he will stay covering the heat in the future...basically works for espn and will do whatever they want him to do

Sounds like Windhorst is trying to save face in Cleveland by being critical of Lebron, but he's being vague enough not to piss of his bosses at ESPN/LRMR.

At least he implicitly admitted he's now a WWL lacky by stating that he can't reveal why he thinks Lebron quit.

I'm sorry, "choked." Whatever the fuck that means.
