This is the kind of thing that can start a career teetering downward. A lot of talk about how Tiger Woods is done because he can't mentally get back to being a champion. When you have Jordan and Barkley criticizing your decision, it has psyche you out a little.

All the greats...Russell, Jordan, Magic, Bird, Shaq and later Kobe...were THE MAN when they won titles. Yes, they had outstanding players as teammates, but those were without a shadow of a doubt THEIR teams. The Heat is Wade's team. LeBronze can win five titles in Miami and it will always be looked at like he had to join two other superstars to get those titles. His legacy will now never be on those guy's level. For a player with his gifts, it's really a tremendous waste. Again, "Chosen One" my ass..."Chosen One" indicates you are the man. You're not, you're a spoke in a wheel.

One can hope.... ive prepared myself for the worse though. That he will play well under his new security blanket and will average the most points and assists of the two. The NBA and ESPN will do such a good job of burying how botched this is after he wins 3 titles in 5 years no one will care about the debacle and turds will still wear his Jersey.

+1....it's sad that the Cleveland curse isn't complete until the people who rip out our hearts go on to win the title. It's not enough to get kicked to the floor, we also need to be spit on just as a reminder...

It's amazing anyone in Cleveland even likes sports.

It would be much worse if he had gone to Chicago and won a title. Him having to join the two other premier FA's on one of their teams just shows what a pussy he really is.

I'm a life long Lakers fan but I too bought into the lebron/quitness/bitchmade hype. I thought it was cool that an Ohio kid was going to be the greatest and do it for an Ohio team. Well the decision goes down and I like almost everyone else was in shock and pissed. Then i started to read article after article describing what he was really like and it made me think. And then I remembered it. When my fiance' and I first met the one sport she would really watch with me were Cavaliers games. So I just assumed she liked Lebron or something. Then she tells me "no effing way do I like that jerk. I love Anderson Varejao!" After falling off the couch laughing and then realizing she was serious I asked if she ever met Lebron and why she would hate him. See my fiance' went to school at Akron and used to manage an ice cream joint around there. Well I guess mr. quitness and his posse happened to come in one day and I guess he just expected everyone to fall all over themselves for him. Only thing is my girl doesnt care who you are or how much money you got. After making it clear to him he wasnt getting anything free and that she didnt think he was cute he decided to just be a complete ass to her and her co-workers. Didnt commit any crimes but just being rude to her and insulting people. I know its not that big of a deal but just another real life example of how much of a bitch he really is
