I'm so behind whatever team we put out their next year. I'd LOVE to see these guys make the playoffs. Fuck LeBron.

That's enough to make the playoffs. Maybe they can bring in a better 2 guard with the available money we have now. Hopefully Gilbert can make some moves without LeBron holding the franchise hostage.

And hopefully somehow, LeBron never wins a title. But my guess it will take 2 years minimum. The NBA is going to have squeeze every minute out of Miami now that they have so many superstars on one team. I doubt David Stern is thrilled right now. His list probably looked osmething like this:

Knick
Nets
Chicago
Clippers
Cleveland
Miami

3 super-stars on one team thins out the league so much....

Yeah, that's believable for a guy who just called a one hour special for hinself. You can bet that if he sees it, he ain't even letting the ground touch the ball. The inbounds better go straight to Wade if he's suposed to take that shot.

That's the point here. LeBron doesn't want to take the last shot. Even if he gets the ball he's going to look to dish it off to someone else.

Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE"

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch.

Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....

I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:

DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....

Wow that letter was awesome. Gilbert is beyond pissed, but SERIOUSLY motivated to bring home the hardware. He sounds like a possessed man...in a good way. I'm probably more excited for Cavs roundball than I've been in years. I'd love to see someone young & fresh come in here and take the reigns...free agent or draft pick.

Time to start fresh. LeBron can have his bench of minimum wage players and 2 headed all-star. The Heat won't be the Celtics. The Celts actually had a decent bench and an excellent starting FIVE for that matter.

I doubt he delivers, but it's a nice sentiment on a rough day for the city.

Again, the dirt that will come out the next week will definitely keep my interest. Bron Bron and the LBJ brand is about to get torn down. :biggrin:

Good God. I believe that Dan Gilbert is about to take down the veil that has been protecting Lebron James.....

Personally, I wish this would have come right after the playoffs, when the stench was still fresh ...the fact is, that if he signed with us we very well may have been planning to trade him before the ink had dried.

He's had Tiger-like handlers his whole career, but it's about to come down. Press conference tomorrow will be fun. Must say I'm a sucker for this type of drama at a time like this.
