Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

yeah yeah yeah. him picking up and leaving has a lot to do with his basketball skill.

he said he wants to be a role player

did you ever hear the likes of Jordan or Magic say they want to be a role player?

LeBron could not take being the man, so he took off somewhere where he could be a role player in a 3 man circus

1. No chance in hell the Cavs win anything before Lebron. His only hope is that Lebron doesn't win one.
2. Now you're motivated to win? Now? Uh.....how about when you had the best player in the world?

You all love him because he's saying what you want to hear, but where was this when you had LBJ?
1) LBJ ran the show.
2) 60+ win teams have talent. They (LeBron) didn't deliver. LeBron can get the shitty '07 team to the Finals, but not the 60+ win teams the next couple years?

Cavs are getting trashed for going after the win now/immediate future, while other teams are rewarded for sucking and waiting for 2010 free agency to finally do something that looks to have been conjured up for a long while.

Finally, I care more about the sentiment of the guarantee. Gilbert was pantsed tonight on national TV and it looks like he's been duped by this "hometown hero" that was always looking to get out. Instead of going to the corner and hiding, he comes out guns blazing and standing his ground like a man. That's what I like. He put out a statement giving Cleveland hope and for that city, that's the most they can really expect (ever?).

Your opinion...did you feel that way when he played in Cleveland too, or just now that he left?

I have posted many times that LBJ is the best player on the planet right now.

All this shit is funny to me. Everybody before the playoffs were all over the King's nuts and would suck on his cock if they could. As soon as they find out that the King wanted some new ass, he turns out to be a bitchmade back stabbing bitch.

Be happy that you had 7 years with him and enjoy the memories.

he can say a lot of things, and he can do a lot of things. there's only 1 person in the world who might be able to say he's a better basketball player than him, and that's certainly up for debate.

Yeah, it's obvious it's funny to you...that's why I asked the question.

As for the rest...eh, whatever.

LBJ does have a better all around game then Kobe.
True. What he lacks is the icewater in Kobe's vanes and Kobe's killer instinct. Good thing for him is he doesn't need it now.

Good for Gilbert. Firing something off like that leads me to believe he and the Cavs were seriously mislead. I don't believe any of it necessarily, but can appreciate the sentiment.

Fuck LeBron. Fuck the nba. I think I'll spend the winter following hockey a little more closely. I'll still root for the Cavs, but I've become so turned off by the whole dog and pony show that the nba has become, it's hard for me to really care anymore.

Also, I hope tOSU is making moves to get this piece of shit's brand of their basketball stuff.

LBJ is no Jordan, but Jordan never becomes a legend if he doesn't learn to share the limelight.

I'm curious if this many people thought he was a choker when he was their team's star player. If so, that makes those conversations with Tron even more interesting.

Kobe wants the ball when the pressure is on

Kobe thrives on being the man

LeBron is a bitch and cant take the heat of being the man and would rather be a role player

Kobe is the best player....not even a conversation
