Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Wade has had his best year this year until he got hurt without Shaq. The "it" factor is being able to hit game winning shots and do what it takes to win. And at the end of games, Shaq isn't even on the floor. And Wade leads the league in 4th quarter points, when Shaq doesn't even play much.

things i see at work

developmental issues (the kids what 22?)
fundamentals (or lack off)
lack of a 'team' (is lebron a player killer, theyve brought in good guys who havent produced like they have with other teams. its too bad $ wise it will be hard to get a true player and lebron and a solid group of guys with the cap and lbjs finances)
lack of coaching (you all know what i think about coaching...)

maybe two years under obie wouldnt have been so bad...

Please don't play the "Shaq is worthless" card. Without Shaq, Wade wins nothing. Shaq is IT ! At this stage, he's not as dominant, but without the other, neither wins with the Heat.

You downplaying Shaq's contribution is no different than the earlier pod that said Wade is vastly overrated.

Correctamundo !!!

But he is still better than LeBron, as is Dwyane Wade, in the clutch. That's what the "it" factor is to me.

Also, with that Logic, Magic Johnson doesn't have "it" because he played with Kareem Abdul Jabar. And neither does any Hall of Fame player that played with Bill Russell.

He has also been in the league for 10 yrs...

The only "good" guy they brought in was Hughes and anyone that followed his career had to be skeptical of the acquision. He had a great contract year, that's it. He's a career injury guy that is always getting hurt. I never thought the Suns would ever let Joe Johnson go , but he would have been an infinitely better signing.

Donyell was brought in to shoot the 3 coming off the bench.

They need to get Snow and Newble off the books.

I think you're missing my point. The 'it' factor in question is that great complementary player. Kobe had it with Shaq, DWade has it with Shaq, Magic had it with Kareem.

Kobe's better, but he's selfish. He ruined the best thing to happen to him(Shaq, not that episode in Beaver Creek).

Wade simply is not better.

I don't want to get blasted for this, but don't you guys think LeBron will be looking to get out of Cleveland and go elsewhere when his contract is up in a few years??

Yes I do. Especially if he doesn't at least reach the Finals.
