Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

It's not really possible to be as talented & marketable as Wade & LBJ and not be overrated. While LBJ is extremely talented and productive, his hype has always been ahead of his progression. The expectations are borderline impossible to live up to.

Wade is overrated. He gets way too much credit for winning the NBA title last year. I can name at least seven NBA guards who could've replaced Wade and the Heat still would've won it all last year. Hence, Wade is good, but he's not even close to being the best player in the NBA.
Name them. I have my doubts that all 7 easily take both Detroit & Dallas.

Wade is certainly blessed with a better surrounding cast, I won't argue that.

And if Wade did it, I wouldn't count these guys out either:

Miller
McGrady
Paul
Davis
Hinrich

If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. Wade got the ring, live with it. If given a choice, I'd gladly choose Wade over any of the others you listed. How about you?

28 pts, 6 reb, 6 assists and 2 steals a game for the playoffs last year, yea, he's way overrated!:roll1: :tibor:

Oh yea, Finals MVP, too.

Absolutely no way. I didn't even like Wade and thought he was overrated until last year. The Heat should have never won the finals, but Wade took it over completely. And that list is just ridiculous. Hinrich? Serious?

How many of those points came at the line though?

Dwayne Wade is a great player. He gets protected like no other though. Lebron gets calls, but Dwayne Wade gets even more. That's just ridiculous.

Put Lebron, Kobe, TMac, Carmelo, AI, Nash, Kidd, and maybe a few other players in Wade's position(getting the calls he got in the finals), then they would have produced the same results.

Well LBJ had a great nite, but showed his ultimate kryptonite and is exactally what he has to wrok on...

His shooting ability and hitting game winning or tying shots...

He went to the line for 2 with 13 seconds missed both, the Cavs got the rebound and he had not 1 but 2 great looks to tie the game from behind the arc and bricked them both...

I thought he got rid of this problem last year, but he is right back at step one where he was at last year...

Totally agree. Hey, LeBron's my guy and get's nowhere near the calls that Wade gets. I'd still take LBJ over Wade, but to call him vastly overrated is a friggin joke.

I do not like Dwade, plain and simple but last year during their playoff run a couple of times he straight out went unconscious. But still all Wade does in the fourth quarter is run straight at the hoop and throw something up and no matter what he gets a call and I find that ridiculous. Is he super over rated? No, he is not but is he as good as the refs make him out to be? Not really.
To Lebron he has to make those free throws but where is his supporting cast? No one stepped up to make a shot in the last couple minutes to help him out at all. Plus why wasn't Boobie in with about 4 minutes left instead of snow? He could have made a shot for us instead of having some blown lay ups. Oh well just wait till the playoffs, I think Bron is going to really turn it up a couple notches.

on the two three balls, eh it happens. he put both shots on the rim and they didnt go. it happens. people forget mj missed more than he made for game winners. (its to the point where hes damned if he takes it [50 50 at best on jump shots for game winners] and damned if he passes to a guy standing wide open)

the fts i dont even know what to tell a cavs fan.

You guys are a joke. Wade gets the calls because he drives in to the lane more than any other player in the league. He isn't like LeBron where he hangs out near the three point line jacking shots. And, oh yea, if you hadn't noticed, LeBron is a terrible free throw shooter ( .678%). He is scared to take free throws, especially when it matters. He needs to get something. He doesn't have that "it" factor yet.

As you know I am the first one on here to defend LBJ...

But the thing is that after watching him he hasnt developed a goto move of any kind, maybe a fadeaway like Kobe and Jordan have/had...

Also he is struggling at the line, so even if he got the calls like Wade he would still have to make the free throws...

As for the end of the game shots, he showed last year in the playoffs that he can create down the stretch, but he hasnt been able to show me that if he needs a late second jumper when teams send guys at him and not allow him to get to the hoop that he can knock it down...I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that he still struggles shooting the ball with consistency...

Well you're off to a splendid start with this post
Wade gets the calls because he drives in to the lane more than any other player in the league.
If Wade wants to pull a jordan and pursue another sport, I think he'd be excellent at soccer. He plays up every bit of contact quite well.
And, oh yea, if you hadn't noticed
Try reading the post quoted right above yours :atom:
