Maybe OK. It could be a minor tear and a sprain. It will be pretty sore but meds will help. It could hurt his effectiveness. He may not be as fast. He may only play part time. Who really knows?

He plays like his "hair is on fire". Guess that's why he ain't got much left.

The thing is, if he has Alopecia Areata it would only affect "patches" of his body. Alopecia Universalis would cause him to lose every hair on every inch of his body. He has eyebrows, so he doesn't have that.

Probably the most well known athlete in recent history with Universalis was Mark Murphy of the Green Bay Packers.

If anybody out there has any questions about this disease, please send me a PM. My dad (may he RIP) lost every hair on his body when he was 42 years old. Same thing happened to my sister when she was 22. It's a devastating thing. Think about it, 22 year old girl with no hair? Granted she didn't ever have to shave her "thang.":biggrin:

I'm 49 years old, and for the past 35 years I've paid real close attention to how much hair is in the shower and how much hair is on the brush. Thanks to crew-cuts until I was 12, I have a hairline that rejects the word "receding" but I realize that could change any day. I've been the lucky one.
