LB Ryan Shazier (All B1G, All-American, 2017 Pro Bowl)

Over the summer, Ohio State football's headquarters, the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, underwent a serious facelift which included revamping the team's locker room into a state-of-the-art facility.

Recently, the school made room for former greats like James Laurinaitis and Ryan Shazier.

Not sure how leading with the crown was any different than what the Bengal dude did to Brown. That game was ugly and dangerous. Lots of fines coming down the pipe I'm sure.

According to, you know, an actual former NFL official, Benard established himself as a runner with the ball, whereas Brown was a defenseless player. But don't let an NFL official get in the way of your armchair officiating against a former OSU player, Michigan fan.

You don't understand for 2 reasons;

1) you are incredibly stupid

2) because of #1 you can't grasp the concept of "defenseless player"

So you are defenseless when you high point for a ball, but not defenseless when you catch a ball and turn around and a defender puts the crown of his helmet into your jaw?

News flash - there isn't a way from protecting yourself from head hunting, no matter your pointion. You are going to be defenseless from that action.

Defenseless or not you can't lead with the crown of the helmet. That's still a penalty. Earlier in the game a steeler got hit with a shoulder with the exact same 'runner' definition and the Bengals got flagged. It's the inconsistency of the calls and who always gets the flag in the NFL and who doesn't.
I don't have a dog in the fight but this sounds very state pennish. Regardless great game by Ryan, wish he wouldn't have hurt anyone but part of the game. I hope he gets his head up next time or he could be the one with a major injury
