Anybody know anything about potential academic issues with Reggie Smith? There was a post about this on bucknuts, and it was the first I heard anything about it.

Didn't Reggie play in the spring game?
 
I hate these idiots who make these sweeping comments about things its very unlikely that they know. The way that smug jerk says "Reggie Smith is done" when nobody else has even suggested that Reggie Smith had any problems...stupid assholes.

I know they have to be very careful when they are speaking about a student's grades but they have been very quiet about him.

I also aree about fuckos that make sweeping comments or act like they have the word on a player as well.

Hearsay is hearsay. Unless a concrete link is provided, these types of posts usually end up untrue. However, this "rumor" ended up being true. I believe I'll continue to wait for concrete evidence in these instances though

Any idiot can post anything they want. That guy gave no evidence and just made sweeping statements as if he was all-knowing. That kind of arrogance really peeves me off, especially when its saying things that would be bad for my team. If he has information, he needs to have specifics and tell us what his name is and who he is so people can determine if he is credible. There are exceptions like Helpinghand who I have no clue who it is but has clearly shown himself to be an accurate source over time. This poster was not that.

I am sick and tired of message boards where it is ok to post rumors and innuendo about players or coaches or whoever while hiding behind your psuedonym, but if you dare question the anonymous coward who did it, then the wrath of hell will be on you, because you dared be impolite to a "fellow" poster. Well, screw that. I'm sick and tired of it, and I'm done with it.
