OSU doesn't have anymore problems with these issues than it did under Cooper

It's just that many went out of their way trying to deify Tressel and his recruits, trying to create a separation from Cooper, and now many like apparently yourself are experiencing a letdown because you so badly wanted to believe that there was going to be this great & marked change, ie, everybody keeps their nose clean, everybody is pulling at least Bs, and helping the little old lady across the street. Welcome back to reality.

Tressel will lose players to academics, period.

Tressel will lose players due to discipline, period.

Tressel will lose players to transfer, period.

Tressel will lose players to the NFL early, period.

All I and anyone else should expect is a genuine effort.

I don't try to deify JT. I do expect top notch efforts and results out of all OSU football players both on the field and in the classroom. If Reggie Smith really does have grade problems, then I am disappointed in him, not JT. Trust me, I've been there before, and I know fully what it takes to get grade problems at OSU, and what it takes to advance beyond those problems.

Reggis Smith

Is there anything definitive on the status of Reggis Smith? there has been speculation that he had academic issues and more speculation that he was gone?

There has been a descent amt. of attrition this summer due to injury (Olds) grades (Hiley, Smith) and legal issues (Irizary, Guilford).

I assume this help helps some deserving kids out who want to be buckeyes that might not have an offer due to low # of ships

Damn, between these losses and the addition of our new kicker (ShakaZulu or whatever his name is), I better get my fancy-assed roster up-the-frick-dated.
