LB Raekwon McMillan (New England Patriots)

Are we still firing Luke Fickell?
This feels like a trap question or maybe sarcastic in a way, but if Luke goes that means
withers stays? I just don't know why we want to fire fickell. I would keep him really. He
and Mike Vrabel are pretty good friends. And Vrabel is turning out to be a great commodity
for Ohio State. What would he do if Luke was fired and how would he feel. Either way this
is a really hard question in this post.

I give The Bank (as well as Marc Givler) a lot of credit on this one because he had the soundest logic. Kwon was going to announce at the Under Armour game and then moved it up to 12/16. Once he did that it sent a subtle message that the decision had been made. Could his decision have changed? Of course. But it never felt like anyone had done anything to sway him from what I suspect was his first choice all along. I never felt like his heart was anywhere other than OSU and has been since he moved his announcement date up. Givler was spot on here too in his theory about why Kwon would end up at OSU. Bill and Marc are a big part of why I never wavered. Unlike the circus at 24/7 where theyhad a differently school leading for Kwon nearly every night.

Welcome to the REAL Linebacker U!!

I'd like to see his pads a little lower at the next level but his instincts and athleticism are flat out awesome. He's very quick and has good straightaway speed. Will have to tackle a tad lower though in the BiG with the likes of Nebraska, Wisconsin and even michigan's linemen and backs. Super stoked to have him in Scarlet and Gray though!

I'm not sold on Withers but in the very least Luke Fickell is a recruiting machine. Let him coach the LB's and have input on the DC or bring one in but he needs to stay where he is in my opinion.

My expectation for Kwon is simply for him to contribute next year. He is physically ready no doubt and he seems to be a very cerebral player that has great instincts in getting to the ball. My only real concern is that he gets too big before arriving to have the mobility to be effective in pass coverage and perimeter plays. I think when he gets here, he will just want some modest weight redistribution and he will be set to go. I don't really know about taking a starting spot (it would be great if he did though), but I just want to see him contribute in a meaningful way along with Mitchell and Trey.
