He would leave that job to coach LBs hereJust sayin': Ohio State already has a head coach and (not one but) 2 defensive coordinators that we really don't want to lose. Besides a MAC head coaching job, his best shot might be if Fickell moves up to a P5 school and he gets the Juggalos head coaching job; however, I really don't think Fickell is leaving Cincinnati any time soon.
You think that Freeman would leave from being a DC to coaching LBs at OSU? Didn't he already turn us down for that exact reason and that's why we have Coombs? He didn't want to be a LB coach and wait for our DC to open upMarcus
Oh damn, my bad! LOLAlways forgetting that sarcasm font. My bad
I think he would be a Buckeye in a heartbeat if that were to happenAlthough if they told him he's got the LB group and will be Co-Coordinator I believe that would be very enticing to him
How do we expect this to work, exactly, with Coombs currently in the DC position? The whole 247 video probably isn’t worth a watch, but under the heading of “News That Will Come as No Surprise to Anyone at BP”, Marcus Freeman is killing it on the recruiting trail.View attachment 29448Might be time to bring him home, Mr Day

We don’t need help recruiting, we might need help putting together an effective scheme and play calling... it’s to be determined how Freeman does in that regard without Fickell over his shoulder.
