LB Kyle Berger (Official Thread)

Folks, are there any updates on Kyle's status? didn't see him participate in Spring Game, and nothing on this thread (last Feb 23, 14). Thanks. He had a ton of potential, but seems like he's been dinged up so much he's spending more time in the whirlpool than the practice field. Hope he's better. Thanks in advance. Go Bucks

Ohio State linebacker Kyle Berger being medically disqualified, per Urban Meyer

By Matt Brown@MattSBN on Feb 3, 2016, 3:14p +

After two ACL tears, the talented linebacker is leaving Ohio State football.

After battling multiple serious injuries early in his career, Ohio State linebacker Kyle Berger is hanging up his cleats. After tearing his ACL multiple times, Berger is leaving the Ohio State football program and will medically retire, per Urban Meyer's National Signing Day press conference. It's unknown whether Berger will remain a student at Ohio State (he can, under scholarship, if he wants to), but he will no longer count against the football program's 85 man scholarship limit.

Cont'd ...

Not surprised, couldn't seem to get fully healthy. It happens. Best of luck in Med school. A few guys come to mind that injuries kept them from the field: Scott(last name I can't remember) from St Igs as well and Chad Hagan are a few. Will always be a Buckeye!
