Perry, an Ohio State recruit, had only five carries for 17 yards and left the game midway through the second quarter because of illness.

"He was throwing up at school and he tried to play, but he was just too sick," Terwilliger said.

The Braves' running game led the way. Olentangy averaged 10.6 yards a carry and outrushed North 264-45 in the first half. Joshua Perry rushed for 195 yards and touchdowns of 11, 56 and 1 yard on 17 carries. He picked up his 1,000th yard rushing on a 1-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Josh was at a couple of meets I ran in last year. One of my best friends jumped along side him and he mentioned that Josh didn't really even use much form, just that he was incredibly athletic. So that number is just a pure measure of Josh's athleticism too, it could be much better if he refined his form.

FWIW, Devin Smith won states last year with a jump of 24 ft 7 in.
