LB Freddie Lenix (Cincinnati signee; transfer to Notre Dame College)

perhaps my domino theorem may come to fruition afterall.

i said that should the staff feel confident in hodge, lennix would be moved to safety. then hodge and mccoy round out our lb recruiting, and lennix rounds out the db class, save for carlos thomas.

Awesome - Clearly a great athlete, obviously a well-centered individual. Welcome Freddie, congrats on the offer. You will be a great addition to the Buckeye Family. You were patient with tOSU, as fans we can be patient with you while you take the remaining visits.

I like the fact that Freddie is going to honor all his accepted invitations. This young man has been given very good guidance on honoring his word.
I really like the fact that we are last at bat. I am also overwhelmed with his patience. I think it speaks volume about Freddie's maturity.

After Salley is gone in 2006, with O'Neal and Lenix in the secondary along with Whitner (will be a senior then), we'd have the fastest secondary ever in college football (I think Youboty runs a 4.4 40, and he'd be the "slowpoke" of the bunch).

Pretty soon Ohio State is going to have one scary a$$ed defensive backfield if they do chose to put Freddie on defense with his fellow Tarblooder alums. Seems like another class act Coach Ginn has mentored.

Congratulations Freddie on the offer!!

I really wouldnt be suprised if Lenix got a shot at RB. If Wells is the only RB we get in this class (hopefully we do get him) we will need another one. The Russell kid from GA also could play RB for tOSU.

Supposedly Lukens is moving back to safety as well...

Lenix says tOSU, Wisky, and Iowa are his top three. He will visit Sparty this weekend and Ohio State, North Carolina in January.

Lenix said the Buckeyes are recruiting him as a linebacker, strong safety, or running back.

Doc Tressel and coach Tucker were at Glenville Wednesday.

Side note: Interesting that Doc Tressel (RB coach) was there. Mel Tucker recruits the kids at Glenville.
