Darron felt he competed well and left it all on the field. He grew up thinking of playing for Coach Meyer and although he wants to play QB, he will do whatever it takes to succeed.

He was supposedly a close 2nd to blue chip DB Vonn Bell at camp. That's huge praise.

So glad to see a local recruit let his play do the talking like that at a camp against that kind of competition. Would love to see that performance land Darron an offer.

I am summarizing but I read in an interview (can't remember where) where Lee said after camp that "It was great to play with an old friend like Vonn Bell again."
