So pumped to see that. Grant is one of those guys I root for because he just can never seem to catch a break.

Really pulling for Curtis. Came in with unrealistically high expectations and just needed time to grasp the schemes and adjust to the speed of the game. I really hope for both his sake and our's that he has improved and plays at a high level this season. A big game tomorrow will go a long way for his confidence.

Seemed to be in the right spot most of the day. If that was the part of his game that needed improvement, I think today was a huge step.

Several big mistakes that were obvious, but the most important part of his job will be evaluated by the coaches...

I loved his intensity today. I think he is going to really grow as the season goes on. He was always near the ball and made a few mistakes but the good out weighted the bad. Loved him chasing the guy down with no helmet scary thou for a guy who just had concussion. I think by mid season we will all be even bigger C.Grant fans.

Curtis did pretty well in run support. Made a major mistake on the TD throw to the TE. He looked totally lost on that play. But he did a decent job overall. Still a lot of room for improvement but he didn't stink the place up by any stretch.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Middle linebacker Curtis Grant had an idea on the first day of full contact during Ohio State's preseason camp.
“I came through on a blitz and whoever had the ball, I just wanted to kill. That was kind of crazy on my part, but at the same time you need that crazy mentality to play middle linebacker,” Grant said Wednesday.
Bad idea.
Grant suffered a concussion on the play and wound up missing about two weeks of preseason practice. It was smart and safe to keep him out, obviously. But while he stood on the sidelines and players like walkon Joe Burger worked in at middle linebacker, Grant felt like he fell behind. Against San Diego State on Saturday the Buckeyes will need him.

Curtis had a very good game today as did the entire Defense. Like what I am seeing with our LB's.
