With the way Penn State is playing, and the rumored troubles among the coaching staff, I'd say we have a good shot.

Both fanbases seem just as in the dark about Connor's recruitment. The lack of news on him had most of us thinking PSU, but if the nits are just as clueless, that certainly makes ya feel better about our position in his recruitment.ScarletVader;1803900; said:I got an email from a buddy who is a huge PSU homer and he said that PSU's insiders have no clue where he is going and claim he has played it so close to the vest that they don't even feel good guessing on this one.
2 months ago I would have said PSU, now I'm not so sure.

A battle between two Big Ten schools is set to be decided on Friday when linebacker Conner Crowell (Waldorf, Md./North Point) announces his college choice. Crowell long ago narrowed his list of a dozen plus scholarship offers down to Penn State, Ohio State and Stanford. Recently he trimmed his choices down to the two Big Ten schools.
Prior to the North Point's game on senior night versus Waldorf (Md.) Stone, Crowell will announce if he will be playing for the Nittany Lions or the Buckeyes.
Penn State assistant and star recruiter Larry Johnson has been pursuing Crowell while one of the Buckeyes' top recruiters, Luke Fickell, has been working on Ohio State's behalf.

North Point's Connor Crowell makes a catch in the end zone to score a touchdown in the first quarter Friday night.
It was a night befitting of a king.
North Point senior standout Conner Crowell registered four touchdowns Friday to lead the Eagles to a 37-0 blowout of the visiting Great Mills Hornets.
But it was what happened at halftime that elevated his performance to kingly proportions.
In between tallying a pair of touchdowns in each half, Crowell was crowned homecoming king during intermission and was applauded for the memorable off-the-field accomplishment like he was on his many trips to the end zone.
"That was a good honor," Crowell said of being the North Point homecoming king and being celebrated throughout the weekend's worth of school festivities. "It was in the back of my mind [beforehand about being the homecoming king]. I always want to win, but I wasn't really worried about it. I just had a good time today, we had a fun pep rally ? the best pep rally I've ever been to at this school. The whole week, all the students and all the teachers showed really great spirit and supported everything we did."
All signs are pointing toward the Buckeyes landing linebacker Conner Crowell even though I think it's really close between OSU and Penn State for Crowell.
