LB Brian Rolle (Official Thread)

I been banging around this site for some time now and i've decided to start my own account here because i wish the college football season was 12 months long. anyway, brian rolle seems to me to have been waivering on the commitment fence ever since that game last month that won't be mentioned. if he is that concerred that he made the wrong decision and he missed the boat on something great with the gators more power to him. personally, i know he's a young guy, but i wouldn't want someone on my squad that isnt 100% sure he made the right decision. based on character of coaches i think he made the right decision in dec. but that's his problem now. meyer, carroll, and saban just seem like slimey car salesmen on a lot of levels to me.

Welcome... tough decision to make. I agree that he needs to figure out what he really wants then make a decision rather than the opposite.

If Rolle signs with OSU thats cool, if not its alright too.

Id love to see him in Columbus, but it gives us another scholarship for next year. Major, Beachum, Hale, Zordich, Staples, Williams, etc. all are great athletes that could be considered worthy of offers.

this kid is starting to sound like buster davis...

that is just plain wrong and a ridiculous thing to say...think about what this kid has been through with his girlfriend being killed in a car accident and then having to decide where to go to college...all withing a few weeks of each other. cut the kid some slack...

I think we need to keep this thread positive or else we are going to shut it down...

Some of y'all act like he's already gone. Buck up. Have a little faith here. He's entitled to have a little case of cold feet here a few days until NLOID when he'll be making one of the biggest decisions in his life.

Let's just hope JT and Co. can help convince him his first decision was still the one that best fit him.

give me a break wade...strictly football speaking...he has gone back and forth like buster davis did..

A) who is wade?

B) don't you think that a little more goes into this decision than just football? the kid has admitted to being very confused given the grief he has had to deal with and I have no idea how you can't sympathize with that. and to echo what sushi said, it's not like he flat out said he isn't coming.

C) this situation is so far from being like the Buster Davis situation it isn't even funny.

I went to our alumni association annual meeting and dinner last night, and Craig Cassady (Hopalong's son) was the guest speaker. When he opened the floor for questions after his speech, someone asked how recruiting was going, and he said, quote: "We just lost one today, but we're still doing very well". The split second he said that, Rolle popped into mind...
