?I like a lot about Ohio State and I like Penn State,? he said. ?I want to play early and I know Ohio State is deep at linebacker. (Dan) Connor and (Sean) Lee won?t be At Penn State much longer, so I think I could play there pretty early.?

Our coaches need to get in his ear about our depth chart. Is it really that much deeper than PSU at this point?

Our depth at LB is nuts. Unless you consider one or two could be moved back to SS...still, it's pretty thick with potential superstars. I'm sure the coaches are telling him the honest truth though. Kids of his caliber usually just go where they want first and look at the depth later. i.e. USC's tailback situation. I think he'll choose us regardless.

Looking at the Spring Depth Chart, OSU will lose 2 of its top players to graduation with two others possibly leaving early for the NFL.

Andrew Sweat, Trinity -- A 6-2, 225-pound linebacker, Sweat has made unofficial visits to Pitt, Penn State, Ohio State, Florida and Wisconsin. All have offered, but so have dozens of others.

"He's been to a number of places already," Trinity coach Ed Dalton said. "He had spaghetti at Joe Paterno's house."

Pitt, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Notre Dame are some of the schools at the top of Sweat's list.

From IrishEyes :sick1: ...talks about the process and says he is looking at Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Pitt, Virginia, and North Carolina.

ND has 3 LB commits and Sweat is rumored to be down to OSU and PSU...color me not concerned about ND here.
