LB Andrew Sweat (2011-12 B1G Outstanding Sportsmanship Award winner)

Well from the sounds of things, we are in great shape. Notre Dame has nothing to do, can't even interact the "athletic schollies" with the "academic schollies", and is still ahead of Michigan...this is awesome!

Don't know if this is the appropriate thread for this, probably not, but it follows TB's post... if the staff does indeed pressure more kids early this year, and it works, is that going to change the entire landscape of our recruiting? Or would we get these kids with the same pursuit as, say, last year's strategy? Or, was our plan last year, besides a few obvious misses, to play it for this year? I just don't know how much influence some of these guys need, and it's Bucky-F'in'-Great that our class is looking phenomenal to this point, and it lets us concentrate on other guys for right now. Our strategy has been tried and true, and I don't expect major changes, but what if it works this year? If we can land a few major OOS targets, not naming names, does that change tOSU recruiting as a whole? Move as needed, please!

By BK...Andrew talks about visiting OSU this past weekend. OSU, PSU and ND seem to be the leaders.

I'd be mildly surprised if we didn't land Andrew, based on what I have read on Rivals/Scout and the PMs/emails the BPRT has received from various sources...
