Here is how I read these notices, especially when someone is under 60 ...

"Died in his sleep" without any reference as to what was the cause...Suicide by drugs or an overdose
"No cause of death was given"...Suicide by guns, drugs, or whatever or an overdose

I'd rather they just say, "Dude said f$%k this and offed himself".

Heart attacks are the normal "died in his sleep" death.

Eric Fleishman "died unexpectedly" without mentioning cause of death, which it turns out was suicide. Jason David Smith, same thing. I wish there was more honesty in these announcements and that resources to help people moving that direction were more visible and available in secret.
