We Are Marshall

Just got done watching it at a private screening. Movie was OK, but not 'great'. Some elements were more believable than others. The scenes of Huntington WV were nice, since I spent some time down that way.

The coach, Jack Lengyel, came from the College of Wooster to coach at Marshall after the plane crash in November 1970. I did find it annoying (in a very parochial, backwoods way) that the actors kept pronouncing Wooster as if it rhymed with 'rooster'.

Not the world's best football movie, but interesting historically and locally. Movie ran about 25 minutes too long.

Last three movies I've seen in theatres (it's been a while)

1. Saw III (GREAT but gory movie)
2. Invincible (another great disney sports movie)
3. Talladega Nights:Ballad of Ricky Bobby (if your a redneck fan or watch nascar and haven't seen this, you're just plain dumb!)

Another semi-recent movie I saw was Clerks II and it was pretty damn funny! The sappy love parts were a little overrated but Jay and Silent Bob were hilarious! Best Jay and Silent Bob flick besides Strikes Back!
