any other reviews out there?

The trailer looked intriguing, but the critics hated it. Looking for what fellow normies thought.
I liked it. Definitely a good movie, in my opinion. I'd also heard the reviews weren't good, but I haven't read any of them to know what they didn't like about it.

Rosario Dawson was real good. And like I said earlier, I love (virtually) everything that Will Smith is in and this did not disappoint. He nails his characters down so well.

The story itself was really remarkable/moving. I was a bit confused in the beginning. They have a couple flashbacks and that was kind of hard to follow. But it all comes together in the ending, which I really liked, though it could turn some people off. Don't want to give anything away, but the ending could offend some people (a stretch, but I could understand the other side).

Overall, I would recommend it. May not be anything spectacular, but it's a solid film. Kept my attention for two hours. :)

Yeah.. it was terrible. It's tough to make a comedy that unfunny. And I like Will Ferrell.

I felt like this after I wasted the $5 for the rental of that one.

Watched Super Size Me (for free on Hulu, hooray, Hulu!) last week.

Hulu - Super Size Me - Watch the full feature film now.

The realization that my fast food dependant diet was destroying my liver just as fast as that observed in alcoholics on benders has prompted a radical lifestyle change. I need my liver (to process all the alcohol I drink when I go on benders), so I've been eating healthier the past two weeks.

No, not healthy.

Just health-ier. :tongue2:

Sadly, the loss of my business will probably force the closure of Lancaster's Burger King and KFC franchises on Memorial Drive/Rt 33.

Notorious- There were some bad reviews of it, but I liked it. That was my era. I liked how they showed how the music was relevant to what was going on. And of course, great tunes throughout the movie.

Benjamin Button - the reverse aging is an interesting plot device, but I thought the movie was just OK.

I just watched it too. I agree. I thought the reverse aging was really interesting, but overall, I was a little disappointed. The makeup was amazing, but I expected the story to blow me away.

It didn't really make sense to me why he grew smaller with age. If they really wanted to make it legit, he should've been born a fully grown old fart.

Watching Star Trek right now. Only about a half hour into the movie...and it's fucking sick. I was never a Trekkie, but did enjoy the movies...well, the ones I have seen. I don't think I've seen all of them. I'll be watching whichever ones come after this though. :banger:
