Theatrical. IMO, movies about sacrifice don't have a good message unless the sacrifice is given fully.
My guess on the Director's cut is that (and there is a spoiler here)











He dies, and in cleaning up his belongings, she finds the tape recorder and hears the conversation with their daughter.

Saw IV.



Thought it was actually pretty good. A ton of gore as always, and you can tell that they tried to put a ton of complicated plot stuff and twists to make it a mind-game of a movie, which was a little overwhelming at times, but I still thought it was pretty cool.

In the theatre, "No Country for Old Men" Despite being a Cohen brothers fan, I was sorely disappointed. The book just did not translate well to film.

On DVD, however, I've been working my way through all 12 hours of the BBC productions of Le Carre's "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" and "Smiley's People" which are absolutely fucking genius. Alec Guinness is a worthy fucking adversary, Dude. As is LeCarre, who could write a better spy novel with nothing more than a manual typewriter and a nasty gin hangover than some fucking wanna-be, barely literate amateur like Tom Clancy.

Ratatouille... didn't live up to the hype it received. First hour wasn't very good, the rest was more pixar-esque.

I loved the rest of the Pixar lineup, but this one was just okay.
