A documentary more than a movie, but a really interesting piece despite its short length. It shows a detailed start-to-finish display of what went in to a typical bombing mission over Japan in 1945. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who has even a remote interest in WWII. It's on Netflix and its fairly short (Less than an hour). What was really enthralling was the awesome visual showcase of American industrial might. Also, the strafing montage of the P-51's was quite captivating.

My daughter met Kate in person... and sent me a selfie of the two of them... texting 'as fabulous as she looks on film.. she is even more gorgeous in person... absolutely the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life'

PS Daughter has met Detective Beckett (Stana Katic) on a couple occasions.. and she is the most congenial and fun person... hamming up the selfies including holding the phone herself.. and gave her personalized seating card at last weeks Spirit Awards.. autographed to my son... writing all over it... rubbing it in that he has the best sister there is... Castle (Nathan Fillion) is an egotistical ass

Watching Valkyrie.

Tom Cruise is the shortest Nazi ever on film, but he does a good job in this movie.

Don't want to get political but no one ever talks about what happens if Staufenberg's assassination attempt succeeds. Do we believe they would have sued for peace? In my imo yes, they would have. But Himmler was probably next in line and he was maybe worse than Hitler? Would the Soviets care if the Germans did sue for peace? No, in my imo. The Soviets were gonna kill and rape everything in their path in my imo. The Germans would have still fought to the death. Would we have helped Staufenberg and fought the Soviets because of a new German government? I don't think the USA or the British wanted Hitler killed by this point in the war because of these possibilities. Just my imho. I think we both wanted, and needed a clear defeat of Hitler, not a muddy, disjointed end to that war, and we let the Soviets gets their revenge, because well, it is what it is...We didn't suffer like they did. Just all my imo...

Very interesting questions. Does World War 3 happen if Hitler is killed at this moment in time and Patton gets his wish to fight the Soviets? Would we still be fighting them? Does the entire 20th century change if Hitler is killed at this time? For good or bad? A butterfly flaps its wings in China and there's a snow storm in Buffalo. Ha!

I love history. Should have been a history professor because Indiana Jones was a badass.
