Pain and Gain.........pretty effed up for a true story. I actually kind of liked it, even if the acting was cheesy.



Out of the Furnace.......Casey Affleck is a pretty awesome actor. Pretty good movie overall. Kind of had a Winter's Bone feel to it in dealing with hill people and their own brand of justice. Christian Bale was strong as well.

Godzilla (2014)

I didn't think the 1998 one was that bad, but the 2014 one was a lot better (even though there isn't room for much acting due to special effects and a large creatures as the centerpiece).

There wasn't a French guy constantly looking for good coffee in this one, which sucks :)

"Saving Mr. Banks"

I enjoyed it, mainly because the cast is amazing: Paul Giamatti was my favorite part of the movie, and the trio of Bradley Whitford, Jason Schwarzman and BJ Novak as the songwriting team was especially fun. I imagine some might find the psychologizing of PL Travers' childhood overdone, but the backstory with Colin Farrell as her drunk but loving dad was really affecting to me. Emma Thompson is great as always.

Wolf of Wall Street.


Pissing me off like a motherfucker. The party part of this movie doesn't appeal to me since the money came from ripped off grandmas. I party and I'd party every one of these assholes under the table with the money I make. Don't need a free drink from any of them. Fuck this movie. I don't lie, steal or cheat to make my party money.
