Thor: The Dark World..........Thought it was entertaining. How many movie tie ins are they going to do with stuff. Now there's Guardians of the Galaxy involved in credit scenes? Sheesh. I have to Wiki everything at the end to figure out who is who.

Wolf of Wall Street.............uh, cocaine is a hell of a drug. Wow

Avengers 2 is going to have a lot to live up to. All of the other Phase 2 films have been much better than the Phase 1 films.

There's a ton of movies left

Guardians is next
then Avengers 2 to close Phase 2

then Phase 3 begins (Marvel has said they plan 7 movies for Phase 3)
Ant-Man and Captain America 3 only ones officially announced
Thor 3 is likely
Rumors of many minor movies (Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver, Dr. Strange, Black Panther etc)
Hulk Movie?
then it will all end with Avengers 3 (Thanos being the bad guy)

Black Nativity .. 5/10 .. better than I expected
August: Osage County .. 6/10 .. better than I expected but with Streep and Roberts, how do you not watch it

Philomena.. 6/10.. outstanding acting and true story
Saving Mr Banks.. 8/10.. Hanks and Emma Thompson are top shelf

Cropsey: Interesting small documentary on a Staten Island Urban Legend of a child abductor and how that intertwined with actual child disappearances in the 1980s and the guy they think did it (and keep trying him for one case at a time). All against the backdrop of the large Mental Institution that he used to be a resident of. I have to say, I knew nothing about this movie or the story, I just kinda caught the title on Netflix, but if you like documentaries, it was pretty good. 3/5, limited payoff but a reasonable effort.

Holy Ghost People: New regular film based partly on the 1960's documentary. Performances were good, story was right up my alley, about a woman who looks for her missing sister who disappeared into a cult...payoff was very "Meh", as so many movies are these days, at the end, but I give it 3/5 for the effort and the acting, which was surprisingly good.

I'm thinking that if I want to go see the new Captain America movie that I should watch the first one. I rented this from RedBox:

Honestly it wasn't that great of show, now I wonder if I really want to see the new one.

The second one was 10 times better than the first. Better to judge it off of Avengers than Cap1. All of the phase 2 movies have been better than the first round.
