just got back from Hangover 3. Thought it was a good closure to the series. Probably on par with 2, but the original is hard to beat. Several LOL moments, but it was different in how this one was straight forward, as opposed to trying to remember everything from a previous night. Still worth checking out if you're a fan.

Just got my new 60 inch delivered yesterday so did a couple movies last night to try out the new toy.

Ansolute Power. I thought i had seen it before, but i only remembered the first 45 mins. Good movie.

End of Watch. Thought it was a good cop movie. Probably the most real one made to date, imo. Enjoyed it.

Wreck It Ralph for the 100th (or so) time. For better or worse Vanellope is my daughter's hero.

While I like the movie (quite a bit actually) I really wish I could get through a day without the song Sugar Rush being stuck in my head (and damn whoever it was who snuck it into my playlist).

Speaking of which I think it's also strong evidence that Disney plans to gut Pixar.

2 this weekend:

Cabin Fever 2: Easily, and I mean easily, one of the worst movies ever released in my lifetime. Because of the controversy involving Ti West, I decided to check it out while it was on Netflix. Big mistake. Simply awful. 0/5

Zero Dark Thirty: Surprisingly this was just meh for me. The first half dragged on endlessly and I thought there was too much focus on making the main chick look like a hero. The second half was decent. I'd give it maybe 2.5/5. Nowhere near the calibur of the Hurt Locker, Blackhawk Down, or equivalent movies for me.

Not sure why people think IM3 is the end to the series...

it's not, there will be a IM4, Marvel isn't stupid

Doubtful.

They wrapped up the "Tony Stark" show into a nice neat package so that Avengers 2 won't need to dabble with any of his backstory. They've paced the whole thing well enough that they can milk the Captain America and Thor franchises for half a decade while throwing in random preludes like the AntMan movie and maybe a sequel to The Incredible Hulk before they wrap the whole thing up with the Avengers 3.

At least that's how I'm envisioning it.

According to director Shane Black, Robert Downey, Jr.'s contract with Marvel Studios, which expires after the release of Iron Man 3, may be extended in order for the actor to appear in a second Avengers film and at least one more Iron Man film. He said: "There has been a lot of discussion about it: 'Is this the last Iron Man for Robert [Downey, Jr.]?' Something tells me that it will not be the case, and [he] will be seen in a fourth, or fifth." Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has said that the character of Tony Stark will continue to be featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe regardless of Downey's involvement. Downey has since said he is open to extending his contract, stating he feels "there's a couple other things we've gotta do" with his character. Feige said the character's next major appearance and storyline would be in The Avengers sequel, which was confirmed by writer/director Joss Whedon.
