True Grit-great flick, all actors involved did a great job, Coen brothers played it straight but kept the humor anyway.

Wall Street:Money Never Sleeps-Godawful movie. Horrible, convoluted plot w/no real connections. Shia LeBoeuf cannot act his way out of a bag,and I have no idea why exactly Josh Brolin's character was a bad guy other than the fact that A-he made money off of firms being stupid during the housing crash, and B-had the sense to realize that cold fusion contradicted the Law of Conservation of Energy-basic science. Spoiler/cameo-Charlie Sheen's character in Wall Street basically turned into Charlie Sheen's character in 2 and Half Men.....

Nice, those are the two I got as well. Haven't watched The Town yet, but like you I'm looking forward to it. Heard nothing but good things.

I'll offer up my 2 cents here.

The Town was definitely one of the best movies of the year, IMO. It was not, however, as good as I expected it to be. I hoped it would be a 9 and it turned out to be about an 8.1. Most noteworthy piece of this film for me was Blake Lively's performance. She surprised me with some actual acting chops*

*Unless of course 'coked out whore' is simply Blake Lively being Blake Lively.
