Phillip Seymore Hoffman has had some fantastic roles Boogie Nights, Charlie Wilsons War. He is brilliant in this one.

Depressing movie, but very well done.

dear zachary is a painful, maddening, and outstanding documentary. i can't recommend it enough. please find the time to watch it.


edit: if you don't know the story but may watch the documentary, do not research it.

I am a fan of Will Ferrell movies. But this is a non-starter. I probably wouldn't recommend watching it when it is on cable TV.

I thought it had the potential to be a great movie. The problem was that the only likable character was the supposed "bad guy". I found myself rooting for him to kill almost fucking everybody.

Got Inception on Blu-ray from my parents. Watched it this morning.

Still great, so many layers to the story. I like that inception is performed on two characters in the story.
