The Fountain. I understood a lot more this time but it still isn't cut and dry. Very good movie.

Hot Fuzz.

Very Very funny.

Wife was disturbed by the violence. This is notable in that she wasn't disturbed by the violence in 300. Her rationale is that 300 is consistently violent and gory. You expect it and are not surprised. In Hot Fuzz the movie is quirky and funny interrupted by moments of extreme violence that she felt was out of place and more disturbing.
